We are still waiting for baby to make his grand entrance. I feel like once I hit the 41 week mark, I get antsy. Everything is essentially ready and now I am just waiting.
The kids will continue with school until the baby comes. It's nice to have something to do in the mornings to keep us all on task. We are gearing up for holiday school, which tends to have some more fun elements.
All of the kids are ready for Halloween. Tim was a champ and took all the kids to a tri ward trunk or treat. I stayed home to exercise and try to get baby out, not that it helped. The kids stayed out too late and ate lots of sugar. The activity was held inside due to rain and Liam apparently went around a couple of times. Judging by how much he had, he might have gone around three times. We are that type of family where mom and dad get rid of a lot of candy. Don't tell the kids. Hyrum decided that he wanted to be a stop sign. I got to help him make his sign. It didn't turn out too bad. Tim is definitely the artsy, creative one in the relationship. Lila was a cute purple witch. Liam was batman and Owen was a minion. They are ready for the big night next week.
Mom came in on Monday to help. She has taken the kids to different activities and been able to have some one on one time with the kiddos. They like showing off their skills. We have really just been hanging out crossing our fingers that the baby decides to come.
I have tried to stay busy. I decided on Monday to take out the rest of the garden. The kids helped me strip green tomatoes from the plants and clean things out. Every day I try to find something to do, because the waiting is killer. I also helped set up for the primary program and did some vacuuming at the church in the hopes that it would help. Guess what...it didn't. I got a lot of comments today at church from people surprised to see me. They didn't believe me when I told them that I always go late.
That's about all from us. Here's hoping that baby will come sooner rather than later!
