It's Been a While....and Arkansas!!! (lots of pictures)

It's been a while, but as you will see we've been busy and on the road, and travelling is typically when I take a break from the blog. Let me briefly catch up on the past month. The end of June brought graduation (!!!), birthday, goodbyes, and moving. Graduation was June 23rd. There was technically one more week of fellowship after graduation, but Tim saved some vacation that he used for the last week so his last day of clinic was on the day of graduation. We were nervous about graduation because it started 30 min before the kids normally go to bed, but our prayers were answered, and the kids did better than we could've hoped. They enjoyed some "fancy" food at a nice convention center, and then they sat through brief remarks from several of the supervising physicians followed by a slide show of fellowship pictures and then additional picture taking afterwards. We did stay after to mingle for an extra hour, but the kids lasted about 2.5 hours which was awesome.

A roller coaster week!

Healthy hasn't been a word to describe our family the past couple of weeks. We started off the week with Lila sick. She spent a lot of time laying on the couch because she just didn't feel well. I in turn did lots of laundry to keep up with all the sickness. Tim and Hyrum also got sick this week with congestion and sore throats. Liam is the only one who didn't get sick, which makes me wonder if he wasn't the one to bring it home. He was sick a few weeks ago with similar symptoms. Who knows through, because there is so much going around right now. The one positive thing this week was the weather. We were in the 70s for most of the week. The kids enjoyed jumping outside and eating smoothies outside. By the end of the week, everyone was feeling better, so we went to the playground down the street to play. It was so nice for all of us to just be outside enjoying the sun! Hyrum was able to receive his yellow belt this week. He was super excited about it. We

It's been a minute!

It's been a crazy two weeks! Two weeks ago we were enjoying some beautiful weather. I took Owen out so he could crawl and do a bit of bouncing on the trampoline. He loved it. We had another round of sickness go through the house that the last kids were getting over just in time to leave. Unfortunately, the day before we were to leave, I got food poisoning and spent a miserable day emptying my stomach. It delayed us a day leaving, because I didn't get anything done. We drove to Illinois on Sunday. The kids did amazing in the van. We've done road trips before with just me, but this was the first time doing it with a child under one. Hyrum and Lila did great with helping the younger two. Lila was a champ with Owen, because he can be difficult. Monday was a holiday for us, which was convenient, so we could get settled and get all the wiggles and energy out.
