Made it...now it's time for a nap!

It was an extremely busy week.  We have one week down in March and several more to go.  Tim has begun to search for a new job.  He had an interview earlier this week during our freak snow storm.  There was no snow on the ground when we left in the morning.  By noon when we let the kids out we had about six inches on the ground and when we let them kids go in the afternoon the snow was gone.  Tim managed to make it to the interview and back to work without any problems.

Throughout the week he had a couple of phone interviews and there seems to be one job that is showing potential.  He continues to look into more schooling and we are still hoping that he will make it off the wait list at one of the schools.

On Tuesday I went to mutual.  Wednesday was the temple and Thursday was a day to finish up projects and lessons in preparation for Friday.  The young women had a retreat up at a "cabin".  It was a house, but it had a cabin feel.  I was in charge of one of the activities, which went well.  Tim had a man date with old friends/roommates.  Neither of us went to bed at a decent time, so Saturday was tiring.

I also had a baby shower that was right after the retreat.  The shower was fun and it was interesting to see all the different women come together with different life experiences with kids.  Tim went to a financial class at BYU.  He enjoyed it and got some tips.  After we both got home we worked on different projects, until Carolyn came over for a little Cranford and popcorn.

Today, I taught in Young Women's.  They stared at their hands for most of the time, but they finally got into the lesson towards the end.  It is really hard to teach when you have such small groups of kids.  Youth are just hard.

Any who...next week will be busy as well.  We have a baptism and a wedding.  We just have to make it to the end of the month and then things will calm down...maybe.
