It was a busy week for Hyrum this week. He seemed to bloom over night. For starters we finally figured out what he has probably been trying to tell us for a month about his sleeping. We started putting him to bed at seven and he will sleep until about 5:30-6 a.m. He will wake up two times to eat, but he falls right back asleep. He seems to be very happy with that and consistently all week at about 6:30 p.m. he will get fussy and after his bath is starts to fall asleep.
He also had his two month appointment a week late. He is weighing in now at 13 pounds 11 ounces and 25 1/2 inches long. That puts him in the 99 percentile for his height. The doctor said he is a little below where he should be for weight, but with all the stretching and growing he has been doing...I'm happy he has any weight! With all his growing, we officially put away all his 0-3 month clothes and have moved on to 3-6 month. This is a picture of a six month outfit for church that fits just right. I was a little worried this morning that it would be too small for him, but it fit and he looked cute!
He also decided that he really likes to look at the world. He isn't content to lay for very long on the floor until he is fussy and wanting to sit up. We started having him join us for dinner. He will sit in a baby seat and watch us while we eat. As well, he has started babbling in sentences. We also almost got a laugh out of him. He strung a ha...ha together, so it won't be long before he has figured out the laughing. Now if I could just get him to sleep for 8 hours!
I did make banana brownies that were pretty tasty. I was surprised they turned out as well as they did. But, I guess when you add enough chocolate, anything can taste good.

As for Tim and I...we now live through Hyrum. Our world is very boring compared to his. Work was extremely slow for me this week. Tim finished up working with the family medicine doctor this week and will have the rest of the Summer off to study for the Step exam next Summer.

We did start packing up the apartment. We were accepted into student housing and will be able to move in, in one week. Most everything is done. We just have to pack up the kitchen later in the week and then we will be ready for the big day. With that being said, next weeks post may be late. I am not sure how long it will take us to get internet at our new apartment. Just don't be surprised if the post is late...I will post as soon as I can.
Here's to a great week!
