Soccer!

Life continues to move for us.  The mornings are little cooler and by cooler it is 70 instead of 80 in the morning.  It never lasts long as the heat and humidity continue to climb throughout the day.  We do have our moments of nature and beauty.  The picture below is what we saw this week.  We live in the concrete jungle, but sometimes mother nature can get through and show us some real beauty.

Tim studied hard all week and I worked.  Things are getting busy as work, slowly.  I finally got my caseload and will be able to reach out to the teachers in the next week.  This week I have a conference, so I am not in the office for the rest of the week.  Tim is also studying for exams that will be in a week.

Besides studying, Tim also fits in soccer.  This was the first time he has played since Hyrum was born, so he got to go to his first game!  It was funny to watch him.  He actually followed the boys as they were running back and forth.  It was single elimination, so his team won a game and lost the second.  He was grateful, because he had class the next day.

This week for dinner we have enchiladas.  Tim was really excited.  I haven't made them before, so it was an adventure.  They were spinach, black bean with homemade refried beans and cilantro lime rice.  It was really good!

Hyrum is a rolling maniac!  He doesn't lay on his back long before he is on his stomach.  It is fun to watch him, but when he wakes up at 2 in the morning and gets stuck on his stomach...mom has to go and roll him back and put him back to sleep...not cool.  He also has started lifting his bum in the air.  Crawling seems to be what he wants to do next, but he doesn't really sit up.  He just falls over.  Despite all the night time wakings...we will still keep him!
Here's to another week!
