Imagination!

Another week down in Oklahoma.  The weeks just keep slipping by.  We have been gone from Houston for six weeks and we have two more before we head back.  It has been great to visit with family and to spend so much time with family.  Not sure if they have liked having us around, but we have sure had fun.

We spent a lot of the week playing inside and outside.  I would say that Hyrum's imagination has taken off.  His play sessions are more involved with parts for more than one player.  He also makes up conversations and asks us to say things that go along with what he is doing.  For instance, we were fixing a truck and Hyrum said, "Mom can you say, Hyrum will you fix the wheel?"  Sometimes you have to be on your game to keep up with his imagination, because he will change the plot of the play session.  He did a lot of tub scrubbing, road building, sawing, drilling, fixing things around the house, and tent building.  A funny Hyrum story.  We picked him up today from nursery and the leaders told us that he was going around nursery with an air compressor filling up tires.

Lila continues to enjoy tummy time and wiggling in general.  She learned how to rotate to get a toy and I think she might be figuring out her naps.  We have had 40 minute naps for about a month and a half and this week she started sleeping longer, which is awesome.  Hopefully, it sticks because we like happy babies.

Tim had another interview this week in New Mexico.  He drove and enjoyed his interview.  The more interviews he has the harder it gets to decide how to rank them, which we need to be doing soon, because we are down to eight Fridays until Match day.  He also took Hyrum to get ice cream, which was fun for both.

There isn't much going on with me.  I played with the kids and tried to help out around the house.  Not too exciting, but I did get a nap, which is always a good thing in my book!
