Survival!

It was definitely a week of survival.  We had colder temperatures, so we didn't make it outside as often.  Liam also had a harder week, but let's get down to it.

Tim had another busy week in the hospital working with some difficult and very sick patients.  On the positive side he had a great team this go around with a solid intern and medical student.  He will finish up on Monday and then head into nights.  He hasn't done nights since Liam was born, so it should be an interesting week.  I am sure it will be more stressful for me than Tim because he can literally sleep through a baby screaming right next to his ear!

Lila dear Lila.  She enjoyed lots of mothering both Liam and her own babies.  She also fit in some ninja time as well.  When she wasn't mothering or ninjaing, she was breaking and entering.  It's quite the production getting the kids out and in when it is colder.  Hyrum ran off and Lila who was inside slipped outside.  I went to go get both of them and was met on the stairs by Hyrum saying that Lila went in someone's apartment.  A closing door and a patter of feet confirmed that indeed she was breaking and entering.  Well, I guess it was just entering because the door was unlocked and that is my only defense.  She also had her first of the last set of molars come in.  I knew she was working on it, and I just saw it today.    Hopefully the rest follow suit quickly.

Hyrum had another good week of preschool.  We also made him a dental appointment in preparation for kindergarten.  He is pretty excited and I hope it goes better than the first time he went to the dentist.  He also mastered toast.  I woke up this week more times than not to Hyrum already putting toast on the table.  We still need to work on the amount of butter that he puts on, needless to say that the thick layer on toast and the extra glob on the side of his plate were a little much.  He also unload the silverware.  He is eager for more things he can do by himself.  Hopefully, it lasts.  He also spent lots of time creating inventions.

Liam had a harder week.  I am not sure if I ate something, but he had a lot of tummy trouble, which means a grouchy baby, lots of spit-up, and harder nights.  Somehow we made it through, and I am hoping that whatever it is gets out of his system.  He turned two months.  It's hard to believe he are already at two months.  Up until this week we were getting at least one good six-eight hour stretch at night.  Naps are still really hard and he won't get more than 40 minutes by himself.  He continues to be full of smiles and doing so well with holding his head up.  He also accidently rolled onto his back.  Lila figured out how to roll by four months, so we will see if Liam is the same.  I have officially decided that the boys look very similar.  They have their differences, but when you put smiling baby pictures next to each other they look very similar.  Liam is such a talker just like Hyrum, so it will be interesting to see he grows

Until next week!
