Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving!  We hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving.  We enjoyed some extra family time.  The kids always enjoy it when Tim is home for extended periods.  Whether he likes it or not he gets to play with the kids ALL day.  We also made and ate way to much food.

The kids had school for the first part of the week.  We spent a little bit of time each day preparing food for the big day.  I made a couple of pies of scratch.  All the kids helped me make the pie.  Hyrum followed the recipe and made the pumpkin filling.  He did a great job and it tasted great.  We also made the stuffing from scratch using some of my bread.  It was a little dry, so next time I think I need to add a lot more liquid.

The kids have been talking constantly about cranberry salad.  I made a double batch and the kids pretty much ate it all.  Owen tried it for the first time and really enjoyed it...another believer!

I was put in chart of setting up a couple of Christmas tree at church, so Liam and I spent a couple of hours the week setting them up.  It was super stressful!  I think they turned out okay.  I'm sure someone else could make it look a thousand times better, but for me I think it turned okay.

We spent lots of time playing games and taking the kids outside to play at the park.  We also spent some time getting our house ready for Christmas.  The kids have been enjoying getting into the Christmas spirit.  We've also started doing out daily Christmas ornament where we talk about a story from the Savior's.

We have another week ahead of us.  Hope everyone has a great week as well!
