Things continue much as they were last week. I feel like I have everything pretty much in place. We are just in the waiting mode for the baby to decide it's time to come, which knowing my track record we could have another two weeks. I just try to keep moving and keep the kids in as much of a routine as possible.
We managed to get our pumpkins decorated. The kids have been asking to do it for awhile now, but I have to held off. We live in the south, so our pumpkins tend to rot really fast. I've given up on actually carving a pumpkin, because they will last maybe a few days before they are ready for the trash. They all had fun getting really messy.
We continue to work on potty training Owen. He runs around in underwear most days at home, because I don't keep enough shorts for all the accidents that we might have and I'm not doing a ton of laundry. We had a couple of instances where he told me he needed to use the bathroom, but we still have a ways to go before I'm comfortable with him in public without a pullup. I feel like I've had to change my approach with potty training, because we can't and aren't home for days at a time. We are constantly leaving the house for the older kids, which makes it hard to be consistent.
The kids are excited for the baby to come. Hyrum is probably mostly pumped to have a break from school. I think it will be interesting to see how they all react to him as they are getting older.
I had my first presidency meeting for primary. I think it will be a routine calling as the president seems on task and organized. I like primary a lot more than relief society...don't tell anyone. Kids are so much easier to be with and help. I will be in charge of baptisms again, which I am really excited about. I have always enjoyed the spirit felt with each one I have attended.
Tim stays busy with work and his calling. He isn't as lucky as me and has to deal with lots of adult problems. Adulting is just complicated!
Any who. That's all from us. Hopefully, we will have baby excitement this coming week, but who knows.
