I was grateful the kids were sick last week, because they were able to enjoy Halloween some much more. It was also a fun week, so it would have been sad to miss it all.
All the kids continue to do well with school. I'm always shocked how fast this time of year goes. In looking at their curriculum, we are nearing the half way point. It's also nearing the time in when I start prepping for next year. The year is passing so fast.
Halloween was a big day for us. We had a homeschool party, which was a lot of fun. Each of he moms prepped a couple of activities and all the kids got to rotate and have some fun. They were all so excited for trick or treating and candy.
That evening they all went out. Owen was a trooper and wanted to put candy in his bag. The older kids were a little too fast for him, so he did about every other house. They all stayed up too late and the older kids came back and handed out the rest of our candy on the driveway, so no one woke up Owen.
I snapped picture. This is what you get for having an older sister. I didn't get a picture, but Liam was in this dress at some point this weekend. I think it's so funny how the younger boys get so jealous of all the Lila's cool things. Hyrum hates princesses, so he has a problem with it. I think it will be great blackmail one day.
Tim was really busy this week. We seemed to swap business. I also ended up getting attacked by ants and spent several days with a swollen foot/leg. I don't know what it is, but ants just love to bite me and I swell terribly. My tomato plants are putting out tons of tomatoes. It's like they know the weather is getting colder and they are trying to shed the last of their tomatoes. I don't think they will last much longer.
