The kinder team spent the week assessing kids and trying to get ready. We were able to finish all the kids and place them in a class. Monday is a prep day for us and then they will come on Tuesday. I am always surprised how little the kids are at the beginning of the year. I was watching last year's kiddos and they are huge!
We are getting back into the school routine...which means we don't have a lot happening. We have been carpooling because we have the same hours. It seems to be working out okay...we will see how that lasts as the year progresses and "things" pile up.
The activities that we did do this week consisted for running, the temple, the library, and mowing. The weather has been crazy, so Tim got a workout as he ran to mow the lawn before the rain started falling. He did great! We planned on hiking Squaw Peak, but because of the rain we opted not to try hiking.
The biggest news of the week and what ended up taking most of the weekend was Tim received an invitation to interview at UT Houston. He will be interviewing on September 12th. We were looking into flights and the school. We are pretty pumped. Hopefully, he will get one or two more interviews and one will offer him a spot. We just keep praying that things will work out how they are supposed to work out. Until next week!
