My mother would be proud...

It isn't Thanksgiving yet and I am almost done with Christmas shopping.  I do not have as much to get as someone with kids, but I am almost done.  But, never fear, I am waiting until after Thanksgiving to put up Christmas decorations.

It was a relatively easy week.  The kids were calm, which is always great.  They continue to make progress in reading and math.  I feel like I can barely keep up with them.  I am constantly changing levels and groups, because they move so fast academically.  Not gonna lie...it's nice.

Tim worked 12 hours of overtime this week.  We really didn't see each other on Thursday or Friday, because he left for work at 4:30 am and this girl was not awake.  We made it to the weekend to find out in the words of Tim, "We have an uncivilized apartment, without facebook and pinterest."  Our internet was down for a day,  because someone cut our fiber line, so they had to rewire things.  We became civilize around noon on Saturday.

Our Saturday was busy.  Tim played at the ward turkey bowl.  We also had an appointment for the car to go and get a recall fixed.  It didn't actually get done, because there was a second recall that we didn't know about and they would need more time, so we rescheduled.  We also had the chance to babysit for some friends, so they could go to the temple before baby number two comes.  It was funny to watch Tim with her race around the house.  He has amazing car sound effects.  I spent some time with old roommates, which seems to be a ritual not on Saturday night.  We just chatted for a couple of hours and then called it a night.

This morning has been a little crazy, because our ward was canceled due to no heat.  We are going to find another ward building to go to.  It is a blessing to live in Provo where there is a church building on every on every other block.  If we lived in any other state it might actually be a little more stressful to find a place to take the sacrament.

Well, we are excited to see family and get a small break.  Hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving filled with people you are thankful for.
