Another week gone by...

We started off the week celebrating Memorial Day.  We went down to Tim's parents to visit.  We also visited one of Tim's childhood friends.  It was fun to see everyone and Hyrum traveled well.  It was his first long distance trip.

Tim started working with a doctor this week.  He has enjoyed the time that he as had with her.  He only works with her in the mornings three days a week in the morning, so he isn't too busy.  He is looking into working with more doctors to get experience.

When he comes home he spends some time playing with Hyrum and studying.  This week with Hyrum we have had more floor time and he is getting better at holding his head up.  We also think he went through another growth spurt this week.  Wednesday night to Friday morning he was very fussy and ate constantly.  His routine went out the window and we went into survival mode.  We celebrated making it through by eating ice cream.

On a more positive note, we did discover that he loves being outside.  We took some time to go on a couple of walks this week and he was very engaged and looking around.  It is interesting to watch him investigate his world.  I am thankful he doesn't mind being outside, because Tim and I like to go on walks and explore...he fits in well with the family.

My big project of the week was photo albums.  I printed pictures from our wedding and started an album for Hyrum.  It only took me two and half years to do it, but it is done.

Other than taking care of errands and normal house stuff, I didn't do much else.  That will change net week, because I go back to work on Friday.  Both Hyrum and I have doctors appointments and he will also start going to daycare.  We received word that we were taken off the list...which never happens in Houston.  It was a major blessing because our babysitters we had lined up all fell through and I was out of options.  It should be interesting to see how he does with other people taking care of him.  I am sure we will have plenty to tell next week!

That's all from us.  Oh, and we are trying not to melt  (it is so humid)!
