And this is how we put it all together...

So, last week I thought Hyrum was doing great with learning new tricks, well this week he showed us!  This week he put everything he has kind of been doing together.  Starting from the top...

*He learned how to go on all fours to sit.  He started this early in the week.  He learned how to go from his stomach to sitting and and from sitting to his stomach.  This led to...

*Learning to pull himself up like a boss!  He always really struggled to pull himself up, but after learning to use the crawling position he has pulled himself up to the second shelf of every shelf and chair we own.  Which led to...

*Finding him in his crib standing several times this week.  When he is done with his nap or ready to get up in the morning he will either sit up or if he as a little more time before we come in, he will stand.

*Later in the week he really started moving along furniture.  He gained confidence in standing and walking, so he just started to go!

*Finally by the end of the week he was crawling!  He will mix army and regular crawling depending one how fast he wants to get something.

We also took him out to eat twice this week.  It was his first time being in a restaurant.  He did really well considering the time of day.  We had a ward party at Cici's and then a friend invited us to a Chinese Buffet, which was tasty!  Hyrum got to stay up late both times.  Tim was totally right when he said that it is a lot of work to take a baby out.  We had to plan around dinner for him, bedtime, and making sure we planned around work and school to accommodate him.  Maybe it's just because we live in Houston and it takes forever and a day to get anywhere, but it was a pain!

Tim was busy with school and studying.  He works hard to keep up with that and balancing church.  He helped a family move that he hometeaches this week and went to do his regular hometeaching.  His soccer game went well.  I guess the team they played was better than the last team, but Tim's team still won.

I try to stay sane and rested...not sure how well I do with either of those.  91/2 months of waking up several times a night tends to get hard to handle sometimes.  Work keeps me very busy, which is a good thing, because I might fall asleep if I didn't have lots to keep me constantly working.  I keep busy with chasing after Hyrum...no seriously...his thing is to crawl as fast as he can to every thing in the house that he isn't supposed to get into to pull something down, knock over or give mom a heart-attack.  If my poor dragon tree makes it through Hyrum it will be a miracle!  When I am not wondering why it is quiet, I am taking care of house "stuff", doing primary, or visiting teaching.

That is about all from us.  Have a Happy Valentine's Day!
