Another week!

Another week down for us!  The weeks are flying by.  Before you know it we will be in a whole new year.

Tim had a busy week at the hospital.  He has been able to use his Spanish to help translate.  From what I gather he is the go to guy at the hospital.  Much of their patient population is Hispanic.  He continues to study for his next Shelf exam, which will be in about a month.  This coming week will be his last traveling to the county hospital.  He will begin working in the Medical Center next week.

I stay busy with Hyrum as always.  I was able to sew the quilt squares into long strips.  We will see if I can put everything together this week.  It's difficult get much of anything that requires focus and two hands done with an 18 month old.

Hyrum continues to surprise us each day with new words.  My new favorite word from his is yucky.  Tim however taught him the word occupied, because we have issues with him bursting in the the bathroom when it is occupied.  Tim gets a kick out of hearing his say the word.  We have also had a couple of successes this week with using the toilet.  We aren't in any hurry, but it is kind of exciting to have a lower diaper bill in the not too distant future.

Hyrum and I were able to go to Dallas this week with Tim's parents.  One of his brothers was blessing their baby.  It was nice to be able to go and enjoy.  With me working, I wasn't always able to participate, but now the sky is the limit or at least Hyrum is the limit.  Speaking of Hyrum, he did great.  He sat in the car for the whole time and only started fussing when he was tired or hungry.

Our fun story of the week is the cookie delivery for Hyrum.  We still regularly see the family that used to watch Hyrum.  The daughter enjoys making cookies.  They surprised Hyrum by bring his some cookies.  They were a pumpkin cookie and Hyrum loved them.  Tim and I were able to get some too!

That's about all from us!
