AC at last!

Tuesday evening we finally got our AC working.  They haven't fixed everything, but at least it is blowing cool air.  It's amazing what a little AC will do for one's mood and sleeping.  It took an extra day to get it fixed, because of a hurricane that came through Monday evening to Tuesday.  It really didn't do much damage in our area.  We had some rain and wind that we all slept through.  Supposedly, things are gearing up for a serious hurricane season.  I am hoping they all turn out just like this one.

Tim finished working with the sports medicine doctors and is back in the hospital.  It was an extremely long week.  The interns are still in the learning curve, so Tim fields questions all day for 12+ hours.  He has had a dazed look in his eyes every day this week.  Luckily, he will have some days off next week to recuperate.  Saturday was his day off this week.  I completely forget that Hyrum had been talking about playing pirates with Tim on his next day off.  Hyrum gets the win for best quote this week.  They were setting up the stage and establishing the plot and Hyrum just says, "Come on beard. Get on the ship."  Tim became Captain Beard.  It was just so funny; we both had a good laugh.  Lila just wanted to tackle and lay all over Tim, which made it difficult for Tim to be Captain Beard.

Speaking of dear Hyrum, he had a good week.  We received a package in the mail with his tie from grandpa Kluber.  He was excited to wear it for home church today.  He thinks it is a lot easier to put on than his clip on tie.  He continues to enjoy reading.  We have found a serious of easy readers at the library and have started checking them out.  It is a lot of fun to hear it reading to himself.  Along with reading we continue to do his bucket activities before he gets TV time.  He has been focused on writing stories this week.  I'll translate for those who may need a little extra help, Hyrum and Pete go to outer space in a rocket ship.  The kid sure does have lots to say and sometimes it is really hard to get him to narrow down his thoughts.
Lila is becoming a goober.  She does some random things like putting her shirt on half way and running around with a toothbrush.  She is still super helpful in an unhelpful way.  She also made some learning leaps this week.  She learned how to get her shorts on all the way.  She has struggled to get the back over the diaper bump, but she is a pro now and refuses any help.  She continues to get clearer with her speaking and tackling longer words like grasshopper.  Mostly she keeps us somewhere between exasperated and exhausted.  Lucky for her she is cute, so we will keep her!
I am two days shy of reaching the third trimester.  Twelve weeks and how ever many extra days he decides to chill and counting!  I am still staying pretty active.  He seems to be sitting a lot higher, which has been nice for my hips.  At this time with Lila, I was in a lot of pain.  He is starting to crush my lungs, so breathing is getting more difficult and he is also starting to stretch out more into my ribs, which is more painful.  But, he is getting really active and the kids have been able to see him kicking and rolling, which is fun.

That's about all from us.  I am sure I have missed some updates, but I think we got the highlights.  Until next week!
