The weather was Springy this week. We took full advantage of the 60's and sun. It was so nice to be outside with the kids and to see them interacting with other kids. We haven't ventured out because of the weather and covid much, so we were all a little out of practice. More on that in a bit.
Cuteness factor of the week. Liam is full of smiles and spit up. I didn't post the one where he spit up all over himself as I was trying to post a picture. We makes lots of noises and is an expert wiggler.
We tried getting out every day with the kids. We had a couple of home days where the kids enjoyed sticks and dirt. We also had several playground days. We met a friend at one, and Hyrum made other friends as well. Hyrum had some trouble with chasing kids that didn't want to be chased and throwing woodchips at kids that he shouldn't have been throwing in the first place. We had a good talk and explained the rules of the playground and he did much better the rest of the week. It was so interesting to watch Lila. She and Hyrum are so different. Hyrum has always been in the thick of it, but she just watches from the sideline. She did find other babies and enjoyed sitting next to the babies.
The humor for the week comes from Hyrum and Lila. Not sure if Liam is going through the four month sleep regression or just boycotting sleep in general, but it took me much longer to get him down (20 minutes). I came out to Hyrum helping Lila put bows and clips in her hair. It was then that I learned that beauty is directly proportional to the number of bows and clips one has in their hair. I was informed that I was not as beautiful as Lila, because I only had two clips in my hair.
Tim was very busy this week. He started off the week with patients falling apart and he ended the week with them still broken and some they still hadn't figured out what was going on. It was a long week for him, but he only has one more day and then he will be on an off week where he only does clinic. He also went to another lacrosse game. He is going to try to attend some high school games, but it is difficult to fit games.
I guess my big accomplishment was getting to the grocery store and playground with three kids. I haven't done it very often, but I am slowly getting better at remembering important things like pacifiers and cutting our exit time from 20 minutes to 15 minutes. It is a whole production just to get kids in the car. Thank goodness we didn't have coats this week. Maybe that's why it didn't take so long. Any who, we are supposed to have warm weather, but more rainy days. Hopefully, the weather will change and we will have more outside days.
Happy Spring!
