Calm...

I would say that it was a much calmer week.  We still had lots going on, but compared to the previous week, it wasn't nearly as out of control.

We started off the week with finding a place to live and signing a contract.  We went from no options to two very good options and needing to make a decision within a few hours.  We chose a place that had more members in a closer radius.  We won't be in the same ward, but we will still meet in the same building.  I spent the remainder of the week setting up utilities and figuring out a packing schedule.  Tim has a pretty busy schedule from now until we move, so most things will be on me to figure out.  Luckily, most things are still packed and I have spent the last couple of years getting rid of things we don't use.  The only things we have out are the things we actually use on a weekly basis.

Tim came off nights and went right into clinic.  We was able to work part of the week in a clinic that works with sprains, dislocations, and breaks.  He also did some work in his normal clinic.  He also was able to attend another high school football game.  Saturday, he spent some time working on a presentation that he has to give in a few weeks.

Hyrum is excited to move, but has lots of questions about what we get to take to our new place.  I have tried explaining that we are taking everything, but he still asks if we are taking his toys.  He's very concerned.  He continues to improve with his reading skills.  This week he started learning about subtraction, which proved to be a little frustrating, because he wanted to add.

Lila and I had some hair fun.  She has been asking to have her hair cut and before I did, I wanted to straighten it.   This is the result!

She looks so different to me.  She loved it and was running her hands through her hair.  The straightness didn't last long.  I think she is stuck with the curl!

She has decided that puzzles are cool and spent a lot of time this week working on puzzles.  One of her favorites is the color fish puzzle.  She is really good at identifying colors.  We had some terrible two tantrums this week.  We are seeing more of those and it is frustrating for all parties.  She has decided that she is my shopping buddy.  She just likes to go any adventure we will let her come on.

Liam has decided that naps aren't cool.  We are down to 32 minute naps, which makes it really hard to get anything done.  I am hoping that he grows out of it sooner rather than later.  He continues to roll and prefers to sit up and see the action.  He is coming along with learning to swallow baby food.  We have given him pears, which he really likes.  We tried oatmeal, but discovered that it had wheat in it, which is why he started spitting up again.  He loves to smile and he is learning to make different sounds.  He has also discovered that it is really fun to watch Hyrum and tracks him across the room and gives Hyrum big smiles for all his antics.

As you can see, I stayed busy.  The next three weeks will be very busy as we prepare to move.  I am looking forward to General Conference and a spiritual feast!
