A long week!

We started out the week right...with a party.  A homeschool friend hosted a Halloween party for homeschool families in the area.  It was a lot of fun for the kids.  They enjoyed running around with friends, eating lots of food, and fun games.  Hyrum rocked the donut game.  He figured it out really fast.  He opened his mouth big and went from the bottom.

Liam was hilarious with bobbing for apples.  What do you do if you can get the apples?  Drink the water of course.
Lila loved the monster.  She brought it home and has made many a scary monster since.
The kids have decided to be Mario, Elsa, and Marshal from Paw Patrol.

We continued the week with normal school activities and routine family stuff.  I have starting planning the next block of school.  I can't believe we are already heading into the holiday part of the school year.  I feel like this year is flying by.  The kids continue to do great and I love how Liam is wanting to do school.  He sits down at the table and demands to do his school.  Hyrum's big highlight was receiving a green stripe for Kuk Sool.  He broke a board on his first try.  Tim recorded it and it was funny to see the pause before he got super excited.  I think it shocked him that he broke it.  I'm sure he was imagining sonic fists.

Owen was sick most of the week, which meant he was up a lot at night and taking terrible naps.  That also meant that I was up a lot at night and dealing with a grouchy baby during the day.  He seemed to get over whatever it was by Friday and I was ever so grateful.  He has been getting up on all fours for a while now, but hasn't done the coordinate moving of the hands and legs.  He started moving his hands today and we are betting that he is going to start crawling this week.

We ended the week with the ward trunk or treat.  We were going to try to go to a pumpkin patch, but it rained all day, so we decided against it.  Instead, we met with the stake president, so Tim could get a call to be Elder's quorum president.  I kind of wish we went to the pumpkin patch.  The kids had a blast running around with the zillion and one kids in the ward and getting candy.

Today was busy with Tim being called and set apart, me giving a talk, and having a relief society meeting.  I'm ready for a vacation!  Until next week.
