A week!

Well, apparently it was a boring week.  I went to look at pictures I took this week and this is all I found.  A picture of a little leak in the ceiling.  As renters is pretty easy to call maintenance to come and fix it.  They came within an hour and had everything checked out and fixed.

We had a sold week of school.  We have really hit our stride with school.  The kids are in a good routine.  I think right now Lila is my favorite to teach.  I am really biased when it comes to learning to read.  She is at the point where she's discovered her reading power and I can hear her every day reading books at her level.  She also chose her first stack of library books that she can read.  I typically put a cap on the number of books the kids can get, because I can only carry some many things.  I couldn't say no to her stack.  My shoulder about fell off, but all the books made it to the van.

Both Lila and Liam had well child checkups this week.  Our doctor allows us to stack appointments, which is great.  I don't like dragging all the kids to appointments.  I thought Lila was going to need shots, but found that Liam was the one that needed to get shots.  He took it like a champ, so much better than Hyrum, who myself and two nurses had to hold down.

The weather had cooled considerably.  It's typically very cold in the morning, but after lunch until about 5 the kids are running around outside without a jacket.  I love it that the kids are outside playing.  I'm not sure what our kids will do when they discover what cold actually means.

They is a lot of excitement for Thanksgiving.  Liam helped me carry the turkey to the fridge to thaw...I actually got it out in time this year to thaw.  They've also been eyeing the cranberries with great anticipation.

Until next week, may you all find things great and small to be grateful for this Thanksgiving.
