Happy Valentine's Day!

Happy Valentine's Day!  Hopefully, everyone felt love and gave some love.  The kids were excited for the big day.  We did a bit of early celebrating with our favorite friends.  I made some cookies for them to decorate during their playdate.  They piled on the frosting and sprinkles galore.  Don't underestimate the sprinkles!  The kids used a bottle and a half between the six of theme.  It was fun to watch them create and choose their favorites.

We had a pretty normal week as far as the routine.  Some weeks I feel are very crazy, so I am grateful for the normal crazy weeks.  The kids are zooming with their studies.  I can't remember if I've already said this, but I love this time of year.  The academic load gets easier and the planning gets faster and easier.  I'm finally in a routine and cruising just in time to change things up for the next year.

The weather was colder this week, but it didn't stop the kids from playing outside.  We had a couple of days of heavy rain.  Our yard doesn't drain well, so it a muddy mess.  Apparently, we have a chance of snow this coming week, with single digits.  Not excited about that at all.  That means things are going to shut down again, so some of our activities will be canceled.

Tim continues to be really busy at work.  He has another med student rotating with him, which makes things even more busy.  He still doesn't have an MA, but he should start in the next couple of weeks.  The clinic should run a little smoother, which means Tim might get home for dinner.

Until next week...stay warm!
